vintage shopping

I am bringing my daughter to New York this summer and she has requested that i take her vintage shopping for clothes. Where would I take her to do this that would not cost a fortune?

Here are a few places:

Cheap Jacks - 841 Broadway between 13th %26amp; 14th Streets in the Union Square Area.

Screaming Mimi%26#39;s - 382 Lafayette St between 4th St %26amp; Great Jones - West Village

Amacord - - 84 E 7th St - East Village.....Also, there are many vintage stores on ST. Marks Place %26amp; surrounding blocks in the East Village....I think you daughter will like this neighborhood.

Subway: 6 to Astor Pl.

2. Tokio 7

64 E. 7th St. btw. 1st and 2nd Ave.

Subway: 6 to Astor Pl.

3. Tokyo Joe

334 E. 11th St. btw. 1st and 2nd Ave.

Subway: 6 to 28th St.

4. Housing Works Thrift Shop

157 E. 23rd St. btw. 3rd and Lexington Ave.

Subway: 6 to 23rd St.

5. Kimono House

131 Thompson St. btw. Houston and Prince St.

Subway: C or E to Spring St
