Lincoln Tunnel or GW Bridge ?

I need to get from West 52nd Street to Woodbury Common and wanted to know what was the least time comsuming way to cross the river, according to one site the best route is the Tunnel according to another the Bridge.

Which one would be advisable on a wed around 10am ?

Lincoln Tunnel or GW Bridge ?

I would go the GW Bridge----After you cross the bridge the road you need to take to Woodbury is right there.---We went the tunnel , got lost and wasted a lot of time. Just beware if you are coming back into the city. Both the bridge and tunnel can start backing up early.

Lincoln Tunnel or GW Bridge ?

Actually, neither.

The quickest way is to take the West Side Highway which becomes the Henry Hudson Parkway which eventually becomes the New York Thruway which you take to Exit 16, Harriman. You cross the river at the Tappan Zee Bridge.

You can also take the George Washington Bridge (upper level, bear right) to the Palisades Parkway and take Palisades to the NY Thruway (Route 87) north and get off at Harriman, Exit 16.

Stay away from the Lincoln Tunnel.

Ruffian, I looked up the directions you gave on a map and at one point it seems to confusing.

I did not see the Henry Hudson Expressway turn into the I-87 as you say it should, where exactly does this happen ?
