In New York from 24th March to 30th March and interested in seeing some American sport while in NY. Does anybody have any suggestions???

We are also going around these dates and I have checked a variety of websites for sports fixtures. Any American Sport will do... Basketball, Baseball, American Football - but I havent found anything so far. I have a feeling that we are %26#39;between seasons%26#39;, but I would love to be wrong.

I hope you like basketball, because at that time of year with the hockey season cancelled, the Knicks and the Nets are all you%26#39;ve got.

It seems there are no home Knicks games between 23rd March and 1st April, so we are out of luck on that one. The Nets play at home on Saturday 26th. Is there an easy way to get there by public transport ? Probably won%26#39;t bother if it is too much hassle.

There%26#39;s a bus from the Port Authority Bus Terminal that goes to the Meadowlands where the Nets play.

For the some of the best in College basketball you have the Post Season NIT tournament at MSG.

Tickets shoudl be a lot cheaper than for the Knicks
