West Park Hotel

The place has wildly mixed reviews. Some may be due to rennovations, so.. Has anyone stayed there recently? I am familiar with the neighborhood, so that%26#39;s the biggest attraction and I certainly don%26#39;t expect ';The Ritz';. Am I going to be really bummed or will it be basic, clean, and not rat and bug infested?

Having lived in NYC while in school there, I realize that a whole lot of bugs, etc. can inhabit the place. Do we need to check when the exterminator has been there?!

West Park Hotel

It%26#39;s a 1* property and reviews aren%26#39;t very good generally. (That is, the good reviews say it%26#39;s okay-hardly glowing- but the bad reviews are downright scary.)

So it may be luck of the draw for you as to whether you get a good or bad room.

You may want to check out the Belvedere, Salisbury and Murray Hill East Suites. All good, clean, reliable, and affordable places.

You can plug your travel dates into easyclicktravel.com and see what pops up. Also, if you have the inclination to stay well at the lowest cost, you can check outl priceline/hotwire bidding. Check out betterbidding.com%26#39;s New York board. Give them your travel dates, number in your party, and buget limit, and they%26#39;ll let you know your options.
