Sofitel NYC - best price and contacting hotel directly?

Hi all,

We are looking to book for 4 nights in April, The Sofitel NYC, after reading the great reviews on here.

Best price we can find so far is just over 锟斤拷700 UKP from Hotels.com for a deluxe room, we have tried to email the hotel directly, at: H2185@accor.com

(shown on the sofitel webpage)

but don%26#39;t get a response at all, 4 days so far... :(

Does anyone know of any better deals at this hotel on the web and any direct emails to staff or receptionist at the hotel?

If I remember correctly, someone once posted that you get better prices for the Sofitel from the different travel websites than by going through them directly. Try the other travel sites and see what comes up. There are several others and sometimes they can vary quite a bit. We are looking into the sofitel for May ourselves. Have a great trip.

we are staying at sofitel in march 4 nights we booked through www.alpharooms.com and found to be reasonable.

Thanks Fiona, will keep that link for reference next time! I just managed to get a good deal for a deluxe room on Expedia, managed to undercut hotelrooms.com by nearly 100 pounds, they seem to be going up rapidly every day!

never stayed there. hope reviews are correct , never been to new york can%26#39;t wait i am so excited . going for st paddy%26#39;s day you have a good time too.
