Hi I posted a couple of weeks ago, re getting married in NYC. Thanks for the great advice. I%26#39;ve got very bad flu%26#39; and have had no time to organise anything, before we leave on Wednesday!
I need a reasonably priced hairdresser who could do something with my hair, nothing too elaborate. Probably near our hotel mid town near Times square.
We also would like flowers (though it%26#39;s not life or death), same location any ideas?
PS how is the weather? I know it%26#39;s cold but do you have snow? We have some snow here (Galsgow Scotland) so won%26#39;t be too shocked!

Weddings again!
Martina - congratulations on your upcoming wedding! It just snowed here last night, we have about 5 inches on the ground in the city...it%26#39;s been between 25-45 degrees the last few weeks. I do not have any hairdresser recommendations for you, but I can help with the flowers....28th St between 6th and 7th avenues is known as the ';flower district'; in NYC. It is an entire block of wholesale flower shops...all have great deals and the freshest flowers in the city! Good Luck!

If you%26#39;ve already made reservation at a midtown hotel, why not drop them an email and ask for recommendations for hairdresser and flowers. They will probably have dealt with each and the concierge must have some recommendations. Today it snowed, not much, three or four inches. Will most likely be gone in a day or two. Weather has been in the 30%26#39;s and 40%26#39;s most days. Lotsa sun. Night in the 20%26#39;s and high teens.
