pan american hotel

cheers sam

pan american hotel

Sam, whatever you do, DO NOT book here. It%26#39;s located in an unsafe, industrial area of Queens with nothing around it except auto body shops. The place itself is one step above a dump. If a travel agent suggested this joint...you should have him arrested. Even better, you should force HIM to stay here.

WOW....... Thanks for the advice. any ideas as to where we should stay then?

We want to stay somewhere whereby we can get to local attractions without to much hassle. However we have just had a baby so money is also tight!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone also tell me how long roughly it will take to get to sarasota by car?

Wow here too! This is a perfect example of why tripadvisor.com is so helpful. Ruffian, have you posted anything about the pan american in the hotel section? I think lots of users would be very grateful if you did...

I have just found that and am now looking at the reviews...... Might be handy if you do write a review if it is that bad.

Mistress, no I haven%26#39;t. It%26#39;s a great idea but I don%26#39;t think I can since the hotel is in Queens, not Manhattan.

Sam, give us a realistic idea in dollars of about how much per day you can afford for a hotel and you%26#39;ll get recommendations. You really want to stay in Manhattan if at all possible.

As far as Sarasota is concerned (and I%26#39;m assuming you don%26#39;t mean Saratoga), it%26#39;s in Florida, about 1,300 miles away. It%26#39;s a full two days driving if you%26#39;re planning to rent a car. But Jet Blue has some decent airfares to that area in the $59 per person to $89 per person each way range depending upon what time of year you go.

Congrats on the baby.

The hotel might be a dump, but the neighborhood isn%26#39;t so bad...

I%26#39;m with the others. DO NOT stay there. Since I live here I am not too familiar with hotels, but the reviews here should give you lots of good info.

i just want a mid range hotel, nothing that is 3 - 400 dollars per night, it is my first time and so am a little unsure of the areas, thanks for the advice on the flights is really helpful, we are also traveling to south salem for a day or so. i am told that this is about a 2 hour drive away??????

i have been looking at the thirty thirty hotel, has had some good reviews, or the New Yorker any ideas on these 2????

Thank you for your help.
