just wondering how much timberlands cost in new york as i want to buy some for my friends as well as myself. and also where would be the best place to buy some from.

someone earlier suggested woodbury common outlets as the best place to buy timberlands but also foot locker was suggested as being even cheaper so either should bag you some bargains. your friends are very lucky i may add so happy shopping. myself and my 18year old will be going to both when we visit at xmas.

I am very interested in feedback here as I am travelling to NY in 6 weeks with my 2 teenagers and this are on the ';buy list';. I checked the Footlocker website and they have a Timberland sale on at present. However, nothing under 60-70 US$ which is not cheap (by Australian standards). I might try and see if I can find the outlets on the web and what info is available

I%26#39;ve just returned from N York last week and was surprised to find just how cheap Timberlands were! W e got %26#39;stung%26#39; initially on our first day as we were convinced we wouldn%26#39;t find any Tims cheap than what we were paying (Modells -aroung fifty pounds- adult size), but as the old saying goes it pays to looks around.....walking around (if I remember rightly 34th st near penn subway) we saw Timbs for much much cheaper - around 40 dollars - which I think works out to be around 25/30 pounds!

There were so many varieties, colours and styles. You can take your pick really....but be careful when you%26#39;ve got to pack coming home coz they are bulky and also you%26#39;ve got to get pass the %26#39;big men %26#39; at the airport!!!!

Basically Timbs are available everywhere, but be sure to look around first (if you can be bothered coz they are so cheap compared to our prices anyway) to get the best price!

I posted a note last week about Woodbury Common, if you want pink or pale blue these were very limited there but we were lucky and got a pink pair for my daughter for 25 dollars and dark blue for my son for 50 dollars, the styles are not the same as in the UK we could not find the Euro style my son wanted, the most expencive we saw them were 130 dollars for the same boots here that are 130 pounds.

AngelUk, happen to remember the name of the store where you bought the timbs ?

144 dollars=75 pounds and ladies are 99 dollars=52 pounds
