New Year in NYC

Hi.looking for advice on classy venues, hosting good parties on Dec 31st,age group 25+We have visited at New Year once before and ended up in Spa,which was ok

but somewhere with a friendlier atmos,which would welcome a few kilted Scots

would be appreciated.People Lounge would be our normal kinda place(ish) if that helps and there will be a mix of guys/gals.Somewhere with a high honey count would not be frowned upon however !

Any advice welcome.
