Travelling to New York in April, any opinions whether it is better to book tickets for the Empire State Building before we leave the UK or just buy them when we get there?

Definately pre-book them, saves queueing up on the day.

We booked tickets online before our trip in November and even though it was not very busy when we visited - 8pm or so- it was handy to skip one queue! There%26#39;s also the added advantage of having it paid for before you go so you have more spending moeny when in New York! :-) We did the same with our tickets for the S** and the City Tour and for Phantom of the Opera. Have a great trip!
The Q is usually about 2 hrs just to buy the tickets and if you have prebooked your tickets you can skip this Q. Also they are valid for a year and you do not have to name a day or a time to visit. Hope this helps.
Yeah definitely pre book saves a fair bit of time when you get there. Try and go when it%26#39;s still light and watch the sun go down its a great experience
