French restaurant for Sat. lunch?

What%26#39;s a good French restaurant for Sat lunch for about $30 per person w/o drinks or wine? I%26#39;m looking more for classical French with good sauces (calories are OK!). Not so interested in Nouvelle.

My favorite French restaurant--lots of bistro atmosphere, terrific food, and relatively modest prices (esp. for Sunday brunch!) is La Belle Vie in Chelsea on 20th Street and (I think) 8th Ave. (Google it to check it out further.)

For the classical sauces you might want to look into one of the older restaurants -- like Pierre au Tunnel (www.pierreautunnel.com) in the West 40s or Le Veau d%26#39;Or on East 60th Street. Rene Pujol is another possibility, although maybe not in your price range.

You also might want to check out the website for Jubilee (www.jubileeny.com). The original Jubilee is on East 54th between 1st and 2nd and the newer Jubilee is on West 51st. They do a lot with mussels, if that%26#39;s of any interest to you.

Thanks for the tips. Menu for La Belle Vie looks great. Also Jubilee is interesting. I%26#39;d been to Pierre au Tunnel years ago, but it was good to see current menu. Rene Pujol I%26#39;ve been to more recently and it was good.
