JFK/limos/silly question

We are probably going to book a limo from the airport, Carmel or Tel Aviv. My question is, when you have to phone them once you get your luggage, do you need to use a pay phone? Do you need change? Can you find a phone easily?

JFK/limos/silly question

We booked Carmel Limos and there was a guy waiting for us in arrivals holding up our name and our flight was an hour late arriving. When you book the car they take all your flights details, flight no, city of departure and eta so I guess they have a way of checking.

Eventhough we did book a car to bring us from JFK I saw a post here where they booked a limo for during their holiday and one night paid the same amount that you would for a limo from the airport and had the car drive them around Manhattan and got to see a lot of the sights and I thought it was a very good idea because the ride from JFK is nothing spectacular.

We booked Tel Aviv (now called Dial7) and wish we hadn%26#39;t.

Booked via web site.

Arrived eventually after repeated calls to them.

Tatty car, pleasantish driver.

No value for money on this.

Organised a car back to JFK from Affinia 50 by the doorman and got stretch limo with happy local talkative driver.

Made the journey back to JFK great.

They used Town Cars.

It%26#39;s a case of you pay your money and takes your chance.

We used another firm (forget the name). Arrived terminal 4. Plenty of phones. Called free phone number - no change required. Told to wait 5 minutes. Driver arrived, came up to us - we tried to look like lost tourists for a change and took us to the limo. I think stretch limos have to park a short walk away at Terminal 4.

Thanks for the head%26#39;s up on Tel Aviv. I think I%26#39;ll go with Carmel. Did you have to pay extra to have them meet you inside? That would be a nice touch but the limo is going to cost me enough I think.
