The best way and the cheapest way are two different things. The best way is to take a taxi. It%26#39;s a $45 flat rate plus toll and tip. The cheapest is the AirTrain to Jamaica (end of the line). Walk one block to the E Train and take that to Penn Station. That will cost you $7. The latter, although cheap, is not recommended if you have lots of luggage. You can also take the bus (around $15) that goes directly from JFK to Grand Central, Port Authority and Penn Station.
