Anyone know any good cocktail bars in New York?? Am there next week and would like to some New York cocktails.

I can recommend the top of the Beekman Tower Hotel, Wednesday night 8pm ?

My favorite cocktail is at The Biltmore Room in Chelsea. They make a concoction called ';The Way of the Dragon'; that is incredible! I also like ritzy places with great views, my favorites are the Rainbow Room and the 35th floor lounge in the Mandarin Oriental. You%26#39;re paying for the view at both these places... martinis are $18.50 and $17.00, respectively! So just have one and enjoy the view.

And, though it%26#39;s a mob scene, the frozen appletinis and cosmopolitans at Carmine%26#39;s are outstanding.

I also like the Cellar in the Bryant Park Hotel. Cool setting and terrific drinks.

You might also try Cipriani%26#39;s, on the balcony of Grand Central Station. You%26#39;ll love the view of the crazed commuters. The Campbell Apt. in Grand Central is interesting, but can get way too crowded, and though it%26#39;s fun to look at, there%26#39;s no view.
