First, I%26#39;ld like to thank you for the help you provide to all of us ';the visitors';!
Just like I told you in an earlier post, I%26#39;m looking for a special hotel to book in July for my 10 years old god daughter! I offer her first trip to USA and NYC so I%26#39;m searching for an hotel with something special to maker her trip memorable! Perhaps an hotel with a beautifull night view of the city as I think that it can probably impress a young girl! As New Yorker you know what to propose! Give me your idea!

Oh, sorry, thought you meant things to do. I have read the review for the Affina Dumont on E 34th St that has great views of both the Empire State %26amp; Chrysler Buildings. Also, the Mandarin Oriental (pricey though). Don%26#39;t know what area you want to stay, but the Embassy Suites downtown has wonderful views of the harbor and the Statue of Liberty! I am sure you will get other recommendations of hotels with views of Central Park, some others on this forum are more knowledgeable than me in this area.

I love the Central Park views, but naturally that costs a fortune! Check with the Pierre, Sherry-Netherland, Plaza, Park Lane, Essex House, Mandarin Oriental, Trump International. You might also try Le Parker Meridien, which might be a little more reasonable. They have an enclosed rooftop swimming pool that offers spectacular views. I%26#39;m sure they%26#39;ve got some guest rooms on high floors with great views too.
There are so many free things to do in New York in July! As it gets closer to your trip, come back to this forum and give us your dates. I%26#39;ll find lots of stuff to help make her first trip outstanding. You%26#39;re a great godfather!
