what would you say is the most unusual thing that you can do in nyc that you couldnt do anywhere else in the world?

also what is the most mindblowing thing to do,apart from all the obvious things like the view from esb etc?

Take a helicopter ride for 15 min. over the city. (Google Liberty Tours.) You can%26#39;t see the Manhattan skyline, and certainly not from this perspective, ';anywhere else in the world';!

You can also take the subway from Coney Island to the Bronx--all for one low fare...No other city anywhere offers you so many miles of travel for such a low cost.

Go to a Mets or Yankees baseball game.

Walk down Restaurant Row on 46th St. in the theater district and on one block you can choose the cuisine of about a dozen countries!

Check out the Tenement Museum on the Lower East Side to see how the waves of immigrants lived and the roots they sprang from to help define not only NYC but also the US itself.
