We are looking into taking the Limo Liner from Boston to NYC in May. Has anyone used them before or heard of any experiences? They pick you up at the Hilton Back Bay in Boston and drop you off 4hours and 15 min later at the Hilton NY towers. Of course they are subject to any traffic snarls, and are slower than the acela train. Our other option is to drive to Stamford or New Haven Ct, Park there and take the train into NYC. Any suggestions would be very helpful. We were there thanksgiving weekend and parked our car in the Hotel valet parking for $40 per night at the Hilton NY towers and my car was scratched and damaged when we picked it up. We want to leave it in a safer place this time. Thanks everyone!

I would either take the limo liner or drive all the way in.
I have never taken the liner before, but I have taken busses from Boston to NYC and also AMTRAK from Boston to NYC, so I%26#39;m familiar with the commute.
Taking a bus is nice because you can close your eyes, do stuff and leave the driving hassles to someone else.
Taking the train is also nice, but in the end, with so many stops that the train makes, a bus is just as good usually, even if a little slower.
I don%26#39;t think driving all the way to Stamford is as good because you will have driven most of the way in, by the time you park, get out your luggage, and catch a train, you could have been in the city if you had driven. So you are adding time and inconvenience.
Driving to New Haven isn%26#39;t as bad because at least it%26#39;s not as long a drive.
But if you are going to take public transportation in, why not take it from the get go? No guarantees that the trains in New Haven and Stamford will be running on time either.
