I just purchased tickets through ticketmaster for Wicked and Hairspray. I did pay full price---- $100.00 for each ticket....OUCH!, as after reading this forum I thought I really didn%26#39;t want to worry about getting tickets in NYC and taking the chance that we could not get them. So...my question is......can you give me a few suggestions as to where I can take my 16 y.o. daughter (so romantic is out...of course! ;-) that is nice (not too expensive..it was spent on tickets!)...and fun for us to eat at, near both theaters ( Gershwin and Neil Simon ). Thanks so much in advance......... :-)

You can walk down ';Restaurant Row'; on West 46th Street and you and your daughter can decide together. You won%26#39;t believe the choices!

one of my all time favorite restaurants is ';Ellen%26#39;s Stardust Diner'; located right near all the theaters. The waiters and waitresses belt out NY showtunes as you eat. It is a great place for locals and out-of-towners. It is moderately priced.
My husband and I love Langans on W. 47th. They have a great three course pre-theater menu for @26.95. It%26#39;s a relaxed atmostphere, good hearty food and excellent service.
