Any recommendation for Sushi restaurants, especially ones for sunday lunch time.
Many thanks.
Sushi?
Had Sushi in China Regency 7th Ave, this is not a Sushi restaurant but it was very good and not a lot of dollars.
Sushi?
I always hear great reports about Nobu, but I%26#39;ve never gone there. I really like Sushiden, with two locations on 49th Street.

drawing a blank on the name, but theres a great place on 1st btw 51st and 52nd.
$18 for all you can eat (real good) sushi, plus an additional $12 for all you can drink beer, wine and sake with your meal.
Good food, fun atmosphere and a great place to go before a night on the town. Lots of fun bars in that area, too.
phishfreak - I%26#39;ve scoured menupages for this restaurant because it sounded so good! could it be Harumi ?
Nobu%26#39;s food is great, but it is VERY expensive. They offer a ';chef%26#39;s choice'; which is like 8 courses (not all sushi), and you can order in increments of $80, 100 120 and so on (per person)
You can also eat from the menu where you choose, which could be cheaper. If you just want to chow down on sushi, I%26#39;d say Blue Ribbon is better where Nobu is really a trendy, see and be seen type of place where the food is very good, but you are not going there for the sushi per se.
There is also a really great place up in the low 50%26#39;s on the east side and the name escapes me right now, but I%26#39;ll get back to you. Maybe Sushi-sey? I%26#39;ll let you know.

It%26#39;s the same address as Harumi, but they have recently changed their name (which I%26#39;m drawing a blank on). Same phone # as Harumi too (reservations are a necessity Thursday-Sat evenings as its a great place to go before a night of drinking). It has a red awning.
I%26#39;ll be there this evening around 8 and will try and get the new ';name'; for you.

Friends who are really into sushi recommend Raku, 57 West 76th. The place keeps getting held up but they say the sushi is on a par with Nobu and some of the other really expensive places.
